The Taos Pueblo Pow Wow Committee invites the community to take part in the 28th Annual Taos Pueblo Pow Wow. This year’s celebration will take place July 12, 13, & 14, 2013.
The celebration itself is three short days, but to put on an event of this size requires a great number of hours to put together. The pow wow involves many moving parts and people to make the pow wow a success. This year, the Taos Pueblo Pow Wow Committee is enlisting volunteers from the community to help with various tasks.
The TPPWC can offer a one day pass for your contribution and an invitation to eat with us at the Saturday night meal.
Your help is greatly appreciated! Listed below are the various jobs that need to be done before the pow wow. We ask that you send us an email to let us know how you can help.
July 6 -11 - Gather branches for arbor, last minute cleanup of grounds - all day
Monday, July 15th - Clean up day after Pow Wow
Please provide your own gloves and trash bags. We will provide trash pick up.
Gathering branches for the arbor will require gloves and some strenuous activity.
We appreciate any time you can contribute!
